Satellite Family Child Care System, established in 1975, currently serves family child care programs throughout Wisconsin with accreditation, quality improvement, and support services.

Family child care programs participating in Satellite's accreditation system have access to a variety of support services. Those opportunities include:

Satellite Accreditation

Family child care programs achieving accreditation are recognized as meeting the highest standards in home-based early care and education. The Satellite Accreditation Standards allow programs the flexibility to implement high quality, research-based practices through a lens honoring diversity and child-centered care.

Upward Milwaukee

Upward Milwaukee provides participants program-sustaining support and resources while increasing health and safety practices and program quality measures.
